Mods so far.

94 z28, Hooker LT's, h-pipe, true duals dumped before the axle, 3.73's, LCA's, PHB, SFC's, STB, CAI, 1le elbow, Spec Stage II clutch(might need a stage III), Pro 5.0, free mods, Mallory 685 ignition box, NX Gen X II 100-150 shot.

Id prefer to be able to hit the 11.5 with just the 100 shot. Do you think its obtainable on a Hotcam? Or should i just look at a GM 847? And i would fully port the stock heads.

What do you guys think it will take to get there?

 

my friend went 11.3 w/ a hotcam and the bottle, not sure what size shot, i think thats a really good time for a hotcam though, not sure if everyone will hit times like that. a hotcam will keep the car drivable, i've never driven an 847 car but i don't think it would be practical to drive everyday, i have a 226/234 duration can, (alot smaller than an 847 cam) with a speck stage 3 6 speed, and i wouldn't go any bigger at all personally on a daily driver. there are plenty of cams between my size and the hotcam that will get u there.

If the hotcam will get me there then thats good enough for me. I just want it to be semi fast, eventually im gonna piece together a 355 and maybe a S/C though i cant decide on the SC

 

There are a few people on here with cam only either in the high 11s or knocking on the door. If you go with a good heads/cam setup and got the car to hook, why not hit 11.50's NA?
