Harold,

Do you have a link to the Denny's Driveshaft? What was the price on one of those? I think I have to get my ds shortened again, and was debating on switching away from the aluminum.

... and the wheelie bars and chute are soon to follow. Are you going to run 3.73s in that 12-bolt? I've heard there quite fun.

Chad, here's the link to Denny's http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/ .

I didn't have any problem when Harold bought my 10 bolt with the 4.10's in it. He came over and picked it up from my dad's house.

Chad, just ignore the troll, that's my past room mate. He's harmeless.. I'm holding his huge *** tool box hostage, until he gets outa school in AZ.
I dont have the link for the Denny's, but there you go. I think it was around $300, and I believe it comes with a lifetime waranty. I didn't think that it made sense to pay to have the driveshaft shortened, when I could put that $$ towards a better driveshaft.
I'll get you an application from work Kevin. You have a CDL-A, right?
I just have to upgrade a few things, to hang with all the big boys here.
12 bolt, driveshaft, TA, fuel pump, & the cam. Then I'll be ready to run. So the car will be down for a little while.

Thumbs up

Harold,
Sounds like your car is coming along as planned. That new rear end should be VERY nice! If you need any help with it let me know. I don't know how assembled of one you got. I would like to know where you got it though. And let me know when so James can get the cover from you and MAYBE I'll install it for him! HA!

Yes James, your cover will be available, very soon. I'll make sure Andy gets it, after I get everything in and together.

Andy, your post count flat out sucks You gotta start giving us some tech advice. I'll be getting ahold of you tomorrow or Tue. I have a guy who wants gears put in, we just need to make the arrangements.

I'll give you a buzz when I get ready to install, if you want to supervise. It should be almost completely assembled. The place I got it has extra exciter rings & brake plates. So I just need to take those of my rear end, & send back to them. They are trying to make it as completely bolt in as they can. I'll hook you up with the place I am getting it from. I got a very good deal.

It should be ready Thurs, and I might go and pick it up in Indiana. I dont think I want to wait until the next week to put it all together. I'd rather do it on the weekend. Driveshaft should be here before then.

I'll send photos James, I plan to do it right there in the garage.

Unhappy

Harold,
Sorry about the low post count! It's very hard to get on the computer all the time when you're out fixing everyone's car! We're
also in the middle of moving and... and my wife is pregnant! All is going well though. Let me know about that other guy for gears. Anyway, see you around.

Harold,
When your done putting your rear end in just make sure you clean up all the tools and put them back in that big green monster and take care of the jackstands too.

Andy,
When your done supervising Harolds rear end installation make sure to grab the cover and take it with you.Maybe if you can find time,You could install it over the next year or two while I'm out here chasin camels and lookin at cacti.I will order some Royal Purple from summit and have it shipped to your house. That will just be more time tied up with working on other peoples junk.Hope all is well for everyone.
