narrowing down my problem..

I got my car hooked up to a scanner and it says the passenger side o2 is responding very slowly and isnt working properly so I am replacing that o2 sensor. Also, it says that the passenger side is running lean.

Do you think the o2 may fix this or do you think that this could be something unrelated?

Exactly what code did you get for the O2 sensors? To my knowledge, there is no code in OBD-II for slow switching of the O2 sensors. That was added in OBD-II.

It didnt give me a code saying that.. but by watching it thats what it appeared to be doing. The lean code came up a while ago but then it never really came back again. And now im getting the o2 sensor code and that the car was running lean on that side again i was wondering if that lean problem came from the o2 or vice versa, i dont know.

The codes i have gotten were o2 open circuit (which i think i fixed) and o2 detecting lean condition. Both on passenger side
