Question DTS rear ends?!

So I'm doing a rear end for a guy I know and he ordered a DTS rear end. They shipped it right to him and he said it looks great. Several days later they called and said send it back. ??? They said it was built too narrow. I went to his house to get it and see how 'too narrow' it was. Got his old rear end out and compared...7/8" too narrow. Not too bad but enough that we sent it back. They came and picked it up from me at my dealership and said they would be on it right away. Several weeks go by and no call. I called them and they said their welder guy was out sick for a couple days. They said they would call me. No call. The car owner finally calls and asks where is it? They said they were just finishing up and would send it out next day. Said they used smaller tubes so his sway bar would mount ok. HUH! Another week goes by and no rear end. Calls again and they say rear end is done but waiting on larger tubes because "that's what we wanted". Owner says give me my money back. They say we'll have to call you back.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these guys good or bad.

Had an excellent experience with them.

I had to take the Z in to them bright and early for the rear end work. I managed to set things up so a co-worker would come and pick me up when I called them. After we got things written up they asked if I needed a ride and offered to drive me to work.

I was very happy...

About 2 months latter I noticed the front of my differential leaking. I gave them a call and they fixed it for free.

I went there in 96, still have it (4.10 stock rear). No trouble.

From: Michigan,
I went there and bought a 12 bolt...it sucked, after 2 weeks it was leaking from the tubes where it was welded togehter, then took it back 2 times, they said they fixed it, then it leaked agaaaain after 1 week, so i demanded a new rearend. After they replaced the whole rearend, i t was leaking from the opposite side, then i demanded a refund and they said they fixed it by putting different style axles in it. It never leaked again, but it now howls like a freekin banchi. (it was a nightmare)
