msd plug wires

i got some msd 8.8 plug wires in from summit the other day and i was wandering what is envolved when installing new wires?im going to have the water pump off too,if that will help out any.what should i do about not getting antifreeze on the new opti when i take the pump off?i have too take the pump of thats pretty new because the stock elbow brke the coolent temp sensor off and it keeps making my check engine light come on ever now and then and you have too wiggle it,since then i installed the trick flow elbow which looks cool too get rid of the donkey slong

To drain the coolant ,there is a drain valve on the bottom passenger side of the radiator.Open that to drain it.There will still be some coolant in the motor.Just use rags to catch the water.
Those wires might give you trouble on the passenger side.It will be a tight fit.Drivers side will be no prob.

Just did mine 2 weeks ago. I removed the alternator and pulled the battery out for more arm room . Didnt have to remove or loosen the power steering pump. The passenger side is a pain . I did not re use the looms , bought new seperators and zip ties.
Just position the wires so they dont touch the exhaust manifolds.
The new wires give you more length too.

Also the #7 plug on the driver side , you have to tuck the wire in the track to keep it from burning, doable but a pain also.
