I have a 94 z28 I'm looking for some mods to do with out messing with computer or building the motor right now I have a fresh rebuild on the transmission and B and M shift kit and KYB AGX shocks and struts all the way around and 1 inch lowering springs
the most important thing is to start with proper maintenance and tune up
then i would start with a quality cold air intake, k&n or moroso., and next would be a cat back exhaust, magnaflow or slp - or one of the many other options as long as it does not start with flow and end with master. if you still have some money then long tubes with ORY and a tune at that point would be a good idea

i'm looking for performance and do have budget as i get money. and i do have a flowmaster super 44 with turn down under passenger floor board that's as far back as it goes i got the k and n cold air and a trick flow ceramic air intake elbow. thinking bout hand held tune down the road any luck with those
The only hand held tuner i know of is Hypertech and its junk. I'd change the flowmaster for at least a magnaflow and put some long tube headers on it. Also get a madz28 or pcmforless tune. http://www.madz28.com/ http://www.pcmforless.com/ Cheap and effective.
you can send it off or if you have the cable and software you can have the tune emailed to you and load it yourself. I use madtuners and have been more than happy with all my tunes. Im not to concerned with max hp so for me mail order is my best bang for the buck.
Ive had my car dyno tuned as well and with the mail order I was 4hp lower than peak on the dyno.

I have pacesetters also. cheap and nice fit. You can do a PCM exchange with madtuner, just costs a little more in the beginning. but you'll also have your car in the meantime.
