do you have a budget in mind? Are you looking for performance or appearance?

the most important thing is to start with proper maintenance and tune up

then i would start with a quality cold air intake, k&n or moroso., and next would be a cat back exhaust, magnaflow or slp - or one of the many other options as long as it does not start with flow and end with master. if you still have some money then long tubes with ORY and a tune at that point would be a good idea

The only hand held tuner i know of is Hypertech and its junk. I'd change the flowmaster for at least a magnaflow and put some long tube headers on it. Also get a madz28 or pcmforless tune. http://www.madz28.com/ http://www.pcmforless.com/ Cheap and effective.

you can send it off or if you have the cable and software you can have the tune emailed to you and load it yourself. I use madtuners and have been more than happy with all my tunes. Im not to concerned with max hp so for me mail order is my best bang for the buck.
Ive had my car dyno tuned as well and with the mail order I was 4hp lower than peak on the dyno.

Haha! Nice... Why are you so against Flowmaster? Just on cars, or on trucks, too?

For years, Flowmaster has been more concerned with sound rather than power.

I have pacesetter on mine. I love them, they make power and are relatively cheap.

I have pacesetters also. cheap and nice fit. You can do a PCM exchange with madtuner, just costs a little more in the beginning. but you'll also have your car in the meantime.

Go to the website of the tuner you pick. They have a questionairre that you have to fill out to tell them what you have and what you want.
