seawolf please remove the summit link you have posted. that pump number will not work on a LT1. trust me its setting in front of me now and it's no where near the correct style of pump.

That's the high pressure Select pump. I think you could get the white spring for less than $25 though.

They have two different HV pumps as well. One is 10% more and one is 25% more. The standard M55HV is 25% more volume. What do you think about running the 10% more volume with a stock pan? Could get that and install the white spring for higher pressure. It comes with the hardened driveshaft and anti-cavitation capable. It does note that the anti-cavitation does slightly reduce oil pressure at idle.

I'm not sure which to order....

They list part # 12557 for 7" deep pans, part # 12558 for 7 1/2" deep pans, and part # 12559 for 8" deep pans. Which is the best match for a stock pan?

Anyone know?
Just to let everyone know the 10554 does not have a bolt on pickup. The pickup will need to be welded to the pump.

Hmmm...no kidding? I thought all of the select series would accept a bolt-on or a press-fit screen...thats what summit's catalog says about them anyways

Thanks for the heads up

It is a press fit, but the pump itself is not drilled and taped for a bolt on pickup. If you look on the mellings site, they have a chart showing what "select" pumps accept a bolt on pickup. The 10554 does not have it. I just bought a standard 3/4in pickup tube for a stock depth pan. Pressed it in an had it welded in. Even with the pickup pressed in it can still shift inside the pump with a little force.

Anyone using this combo, from Summit? It uses the Melling M55A pump with the pick-up welded.
