just keep your rear end buy the 3.73's and a ring gear spacer.. Me and a few others run this set up and it works great.. No need to go spend money on a rear end unless i missed something and your rear end is messed up.. If you need more info feel free to PM me..

Read what I posted about the 2-series carrier. You either need a "thicker" 3.73 ring gear, made specifically for the 2-series carrier, or you can use the thinner ring gear for the 3-series carrier, plus a spacer.

So it went down today. I found out he has alot of suspension upgrades, $400 in dyno time. a cam , Zr1 315's, pacesetter longtubes, and juice. First run we hit it from about 35mph and i spun off the jump and then we were pretty even til about 80 and he started pulling harder. We let off at about 100 and he had about a car length on me. The second run we hit it at 40 and i didnt spin , I put like 3 cars on him. I wanna say that he sprayed on the first run but who knows. I think my lt1 held its ground pretty well. Considering im on 2.73's and bald 235's , with a mail order tune and stock injectors. Also his car is a 98 and when I told him I had 2.73's he said that he did too. I didnt think ls1s came with 2.73's?

well a lil juice and wider tires wouldnt hurt the beast lt1 would do it some good and help spank un suspecting assinine /cocky ls1 owners .
thats the thing i hate is there is like one hell of a grude between ls1 and lt1 owners,

i see it as STFU get off your high horse because were both f-body owners were probably both gear heads were all out for the same thing make'em faster make them more powerful . just get along and pick on mudstain owners .

there shouldnt be a rival between ls1 and lt1 owners. yeah ls1's are pretty cool but i love the TQ off the line of my lt1, i like power weather it comes from a ls1 or lt1 as long as its a chevy

just like today i had some young assclown in wickedly powerful whopping 220hp fox body rustang try to me and got showed the hell up and shut down , wasnt even hard
