Today i ve decide to cleab my tb and wash my k&n filter .So i took out my cai from my maf and my screen(small honeycomb thing) fell of on the floor.

I ve tried to put it back but it seem that the previous owner play with it and the screen doesn t want to hold in place anymore ???

Is there any problem to run the car without this little screen

took mine out when i 1st got it...even cut out the center of the maf peice.

 

i removed mine on the last 2 LT1 cars i have had. It is a common mod. Won't hurt a thing. Aftermarket MAF's don't come with the screen also.
