MAF not working

I have a slight problem that i need help fixing. My MAF isn't working properly. I took the car down to autozone and they came up with 2 codes, p0100 and p0403. he said one was the egr and the other was the maf. that was with my stock computer. after the obd1 w/tuning i still have the maf code. has anyone had it before? do i need a new maf sensor or do i have a wiring problem somewhere? i just need it fixed, it's killin my hp and gas milage. thanks

Check the pink wire in the MAF harness connector for +12V with the key on. Seems like in the 97's that wire is a major problem.

Have you ever cleaned the MAF element? If not, you could have a bunch of grime on it, causing incorrect readings. Or you could have dinged up the sensor element putting on your new MAF ends...

if the wire comes back withlow voltage, how do i fix it?

thanks
