LTCC wiring question

Which pink wire with the black tracer do you use for power?

The one that plugs into the front of the coil or the one out of the 4 pin connector that plugs into the ign module?

I used the white wire from the ign module harness for the white wire on the LTCC.

I upgraded to a 25 amp fuse but have no fire.

I connected the pinks to the pink/black tracer on the 4 pin ign module.

Replied to your PM. You use the one coming off the coil.

For 93s its the solid pink wire as it turns out.

But it runs?

When you connected the LTCC inline with the opti did you check for debris/junk on the terminals? I looked when I did mine but I didn't have anything on it.

It runs.

Didn't check for debris. Does the signal come from the opti then?

I thought it might be by the coil.

I'm almost 100% the signal comes from the opti, then the computer processes it and sends a signal to the module which in turn signals the coil to fire. Someone else may know for sure.

Does the rpm guage get its signal from the coil or from the opti?

Re: LTCC wiring question

The tach in the cluster gets its signal straight from the PCM. It's the same type signal you tapped into from the white wire off the ICM.

Thats weird. I wonder why the guage is dead. The rest of them work. Just not rpm. I hooked up a scan tool and I can see the rpm. But the dash one is dead.
