LT4 hot cam on a LT1

what else needs to be done to have this cam?
all I can think of is

1. CAI
2. headers
3. cat back

I have a 95 t/a m6, I dont think I would have to have any head work done,
So any who has done this, Please reply.

I would do a search in here since theres tons of info. If your still stuck on what you need to get or how to prep your engine...post back in here and everyone will help you. It's always good to search first and then start a thread to clear up any questions you have because it sounds like your in the very early stages on this.

Yea, this is my first time to mess with a LT-1, so I cannot afford any mistakes.

I would go with the Hotcam kit, which includes cam, 1.6 roller rockers, springs, retainers, and keepers. Your stock lifters will be perfectly fine, but if you feel like spending another $200 for new lifters then more power to ya! Headers, cat back, intake, and a mail order tune should get you by just fine. Of course you'll need gaskets and stuff, but it won't be that bad. I love my Hotcam, and if you drive your car as much as I do(~30,000 miles a year) you'll really appreciate it's driveability. No worse than a stock cam on the bottom end either. It just pulls harder up top so to some it may feel a little less torquey in the bottom of the rev range. Good luck!
