be cautious when looking for an Lt1 cause the 4.3L v8 looks EXACTLY like an Lt1.
the B-body Lt1s have cast iron heads, smaller MAF,cam is designed for the low end grunt and the pcm has a different tune.

Some info on the LT1, showing a few of the differences on the various cars it was installed in, the caution on the 4.3L L99, cam differences, etc.

Are you pulling the LT1 out of your F-Body, and replacing it with a B-Body LT1? If so, give us a clue... what year is your car? That will tell you whether you already have an OBD-II PCM of not.

Why not add a "signature" with basic info about your car.... model, year, engine, tranny and any major mods? That way people can answer your questions without guessing.
