LT1 timing set?

I am planning a buildup for my LT1, going with a 355 for a blower motor. I don't have to worry about the water pump drive because I am currently using a electric pump. This is good because I did not want to have to pay big bucks for the LT4 unit. Can you guys give me any info on the best roller chain to go with. I have been looking at Lunati, Cloyes and Comp. Just curious to see what other guys are using.

Thanks

Cloyes and Rollmaster provide chains for many of your aftermarket sellers.
Both manufacturers produce a high quality product to very stringent tolerances. The fully machined "billet" Rollmaster chain is generally a little less expensive than Cloyes. So use whichever you can find the best deal on.

If the main bores have been cut for aftermarket splayed caps, you need to consider a shorter chain. Your engine builder should be able to provide you with information pertinent to choosing the proper length.

Take care.
