IMHO If it is not the opti and that is most likely what it is with all the changes you have made...perhaps, since performance degrades when it warms up -there is a slight chance that it is the engine temp sensor. This repair is a lot quicker, easier and cheaper than replacing the opti. This sensor corrects to the ECM and can affect performance since that feedback is used by the ECM to decide fuel/AIR Mix, idle, other ratios... drivability and performance will be effected.

generally an ect will usually only cause an issue with cold temps.

Wait, Dangalla, a ect? what? I have been trying to diagnose a problem on my car forever because it runs rough only in cold weather. Anyway, just for clarification.

The ECT can affect a cold engine (doesn't tell the PCM the engine is cold), or a hot engine (doesn't tell the PCM the engine is hot).

You will only get a code if the sensor circuit is totally "open" (infinite resistance) or "shorted" (zero resistance).

It pays to look at what the PCM is reading from the sensor, using a scanner.

Interesting that you have a code, but the question you asked was what opti to buy.
Man, I wonder what's going on with the PartysLady on Ebay(now out of business).... I've purchased from her many times over the years, but she now seems to be screwing over A LOT (hundreds) of customers as you can see from here pages and pages of horrible feedback... and some friends of mine who placed orders from her recently, got nothing... I haven't taken the old opti apart yet but just by turning it I could tell something was terribly wrong, i don't know how the car was even running with that thing on there. BTW, I ordered my opti off amazon for 299 free shipping and it's ac delco. So if anyone is looking for one check there.
