I got these and i had to use a ball peen hammer to dent them so the alternator would fit (can't really se it though), but not the way i would do it if i was going to do it again

The one's I've got are the ones Pace sells. They're Chromed aluminum. They cost me $175 at my local Chevy dealership. I'll let you all know how they fit in a few weeks

Hopefully, they'll fit without modifying them. Do '93's have more alt. clearance because of the lower Amp (smaller) alt.? Frank
You will still have to clearance them for the alternator. I have them

Go here:

B&B and ProLine both make die-cast aluminum covers with alternator clearance + extra height.

Thanks guys

Diabloz, rocmemphis

do you guys have any info on the company that sold those on ebay?

I want some that have screw in caps. I saw those on ebay a while back but no one is selling them now on there. I new I should have bought some back then.
They were all going for around $100

Thanks

No, they won't. I've had mine sitting in my garage for 2 years for this very reason. They'll clear if you grind away the bracing on the underside. I finally gave mine to a friend of mine with a lathe to take out the supports.
