Typically the Stock MAF is fine.... unless it fails... a replacement GM unit is like $300..... Another way to replace it is with a Z06/LS6 MAF, it requires either buying it from LS1 Speed with it as a plug & Play unit, or from GM for $80, and a cable from Ramchargers ($20), and reprogram your PCM for the new MAF with either a mail-order tune, or LT1 Edit. I've got the correct MAF table if you're going to use the GM unit route and have the capibility to reporgram the PCM yourself, just e-mail me.

I actually like the GM unit better for this fact... if it ever fails.. you don't have to buy another modified unit, you can just got to any GM dealer and spend another $80 and have a fresh one.
