hey guys went to the track last night and my car shocked the hell out of me, my realativelty stock lt1 on a 100 shot went 11.979 @ 114

Does anybody know if this is normal for an lt1 car, with a 9inch long tubes and cold air with 3.89 gears. total list of mods are in the sig, but next time out i plan on using the 150 shot and maybe go mid 11,s. well tell me what you all think please.

I don't find it too terribly surprizing. I would say the car had a good driver, that is the best mod you can do to a M6 car.

Those are great 60fts for a m6 car and your mods. Do you drop the front sway bar? Whats your race weight?

 

i have pro stars all the way around, no front sway bar,car weighs 3450 with out me in it i weigh about 200 pounds. I leave at about 5 to 5500. ill be squeezing a 150 shot on the 24th hopfully it will go 11.50 but we will see im just guessing at this point, what do you guys think?

Those are some nice times, your great 60fts are getting you those 11s, i'm not surprized at those times, i met a guy last weekend that had a "vertually" if not completely stock 94Z 6sp, stock mannys/rear/fuel pump/even stock rims, all he did was gut the cat & CAI, thats all, on a 100 shot he went 12.61 @ 111 on cheap tires & very bad 60fts, he has gone 12.5s @ 114, but do to his crappy tires & launching easy (on the stock rear) his ETs were all over the place, but his MPH stayed close, i watched him make 3 passes, this is my plan for mine, but first off i'm ordering a 9" from EPP so i can spray with piece of mind

13.58 @ 109 spinning way passed the 330 on a 2.3+ 60ft.

What does it run on motor? But those are some great times there.

 

you launched it on the spray right?

 

it runs 12.9 @ 106 on the motor. i am running nitro daves plate that thing is awesome. i rev the thing up to about 5500 and leave on the spray. on the 24th im going to squeeze the 150 shot and see what she does.
