The list of fast LT1's (NA) on the Drag Racing forum shows that he switched to a FAST. But I thought his earlier efforts had Rick turning more than 7200rpm on the stocker,

No....7200 is the limit on the stock PCM. Even Ed Wright has not been able to hack it and make it spin higher. If someone is spinning to 7800....it is not with a stock PCM.

A 93 speed density PCM like you have is different than a OBD1. It may spin higher...not sure. I am thinking 7400 on those IIRC. I was running a 94 pcm when I was trying to spin past 7200. Ended up going with FAST XFI and now have zero issues.
