I haven't updated this thread in awhile....
I've been driving around with the heads on the car and so far so good. I can't measure the performance yet (went to the strip but it was closed to the non-pro's) but I'm hoping that it will perform well.
I have been battling a lot with getting the heads, gaskets, rockers, guideplates, valve covers, lifters, etc but I'm at least able to enjoy the car now. I wish I'd gotten the heads CC'd while they were off. I may pull one of them just to get it CC'd. The car has a somewhat weak idle right now and I'm not sure what that's about. I'll put Data Master on it this weekend to see what's going on with the TPS, IAC counts, etc. I've got -16 on the MAP reading at idle. The wide band says things are everywhere from 14.5 on cold idle to 17.x at warm. This is a MAF tune. I got some Wide band readings going well into boost (12.x psi) and the A/F ratio was in the 12's. I pulled the plugs and they all look fine/alike.

Re: LT1 Canfield Heads arrive...

I pulled the Canfields (after buying some heavily Lloyd Elliot ported TFS 23 degree Heads) and had the Canfields CC'd. 62cc... that's the reason my torque felt softer than the original 54cc Ported LT1 heads.
