lowered Z -- need advice

I'm not looking for crazymad performance, but want a clean-look and good sound from headers. They will be going into a Hooker cat-back setup, so should I use mid or shorty headers? Like I said, I want one that looks good from the top and sounds good as well. Whats the way to go?

BTW--yes I searched but didn't find anything that pertained to this question

Thanks

LOL, i didn't see the name of your post, u prolly don't want to go with longtubes if the car is real low, i'm sure people have though. most people will tell you to just start with long tubes and be done with it, hooker, jethot, pacesetter, they are all about the same design. I have the pacesetters which i didn't get coated because i was being cheap but i think the coating they use is simular if not the same as the jet hot headers. The pacesetters also use a "slip fit" collecter so u don't have to mess with the 3 bolt flange.

Depending on how low your car is you shouldn't have any problems going with LT's. It also depends on the area of the country you live in. If ground clearance is an issue for you just go with the longest you can go. The more performance you can get the happier you'll be. If you don't want to go LT's then just go mids. Great ground clearance, good sound, and a nice hp improvement. I don't recommend going with shorty's. Although they do flow better than stock manifolds the performance increase you get from them hardly seems worth it.
