looks like its the fuel pump

I think i've tracked down my no-start problem.

I bought a fuel pressure gauge at autozone and my car reads
0 psi at key on, and 0 while cranking

I changed the fuel filter and its the same thing,
so i ordered a racetronix pump from thunderracing for $160

Is that $160 kit the only thing i need to change it?

i am going to cut an access hole in the car rather than drop the tank

Have you tried the fuel pump prime connector?

Connect a hot to the connector and see if the pump turns on.

If i use that primer connection, and the pump turns on, what does that mean?

It means your pump works, that line is a direct link to your fump, put a hot to the connector, and your juicing the pump.

If it doesn't work, it's a good sign that your pump is dead.

I did not use head shielding on the fuel lines above the Y pipe for my new headers, but i did bend the closest one out of the way

Is it possible that heat from the new Y pipe heated the return fuel line and caused the pump to fail, or was this unrelated

How far is are the lines from the pipe? Regardless, I doubt that would cause your pump to fail. Have you run your tank dry?

Did you test the connector?

Re: looks like its the fuel pump

It always takes 13 gallons to fill up the car, so I never run it dry

I will have to check the primer connection tomorrow after work, it died at a friends house and its still parked there
