I found a 94 LTI forumula, automatic..119,000 miles on it, all stock, t tops for $3,995...Price seems pretty good..I haven't looked at the car yet..But what are some common problems with the LT1? I know about the optispark...But what else should I look for?

 

The auto past 100k tends to start going. Make sure the transmission is sound.

 

common problems? optispark, trans, oil pressure, etc.

 

oil leaking from intake
fuel pump dying
auto trans dying
main seal leaks (front/rear)
optispark dying (stumbling)

 

Power window motors.
With that amount of mileage though, you should expect some problems here and there though.

 

Low coolant sensor getting dirty throwing the light on >.>....

 

Talk them down to 3000 grand if its a private seller and alot less if its a dealer. Those *****'s have such a high mark up. A dealer would own that car for 1200-1800. So I'd offer them 2500 cash. Hey there still making 700.
