I'm so stupid... I got my car finished and dynoed and gave praise to Lloyd and Bret for their work.
Just for everyones knowledge... I purchased the LE3 Package From Lloyd at a bargain (in my opinion) and had him port my intake as well. Well... other then the fact I put down 430/415 while making 375lbs of torque from 3k up and peaking at 430rwhp at 6k... Lloyd was amazing. He answered every question I brought forth when talking to him about the kind of grind I needed on my cam.
We spoke for about 2 hours the second time I called him when I was done considering the purchase. Now I was discussing my needs and wants on my setup. Lets just say Lloyd was more then helpful and gave more then a helping hand... Lloyd did everything he said he would do while putting up with my crap.
Brets cam in my car seems soooo tame it's unbelievable. The lope is definitely hearable but sounds no where near a cam monster. It has a solid lope... but nothing crazy. I love it. It drives BETTER then the car did when I was a cam only car (XE 227/233, 560/569 on a 114lsa)!! I have less cam surge at lower rpms... I can cruise around at 1300rpms in first gear!! I got 17 mpg!!
Car pulls like I never would have imagined. My 3rd gear pull feels like how my 1st gear pull was... and I haven't even pulled it passed 6k yet!! Just on the dyno, and it wasn't me.
Greatest thing was... Nick and Eric from Victory Racing Engines (Guys who assembled the Motor and did all the machine work) kept in contact about the mandatory information each of them needed to get their jobs done. Lloyd needed the deck height so he can figure out the quench or whatever it's called... and I was worried about miscommunication but all the calculations were dead on from both of them!!
Lloyd Elliot gets my full support for any kind of work he offers. Better then Excellent customer service and better then an excellent product.
And if you ever purchase Lloyd Elliot products... call up Nick or Eric at Victory Racing Engines and have them install it for you... fool proof.

Re: Lloyd Elliot Products
Loyd done my Trick Flows and they turned out awesome. His porting is one of the best i have ever seen. His customer service was excellent, i told him what i was wanting to do and he pointed in the right direction. He described what cam i needed and he had bret bauer grind the cam which turned out great. If you ever need in head work or a great heads/cam package Loyd Elliott has got by vote by far.
Re: Lloyd Elliot Products
I had Lloyd do a set of heads for me 2 seasons ago and I couldn't be happier, they worked out just great. I also had a cam ground from Bret that did just what I wanted it to do. Both of these guys are great guys to do Business with and I plan on doing more business with them in the future. Bret's customer service is second to none. He has answered so many questions for me it's rediculous. Keep up the good work guys, you have both built a great name for yourselves.
Re: Lloyd Elliot Products
I've sent three sets thru LE personally (stock castings, then AFR210's and then Dart Pro 1's)...the last 2 sets havent been run yet, but I am confident they are as solid as the first set he did for me.
Re: Lloyd Elliot Products
i have been conisdering going through LE for my H/C package...seeing everyone being happy with his work is good enough for me...but i was wondering, does he sell you his own H/C package, or do you have to send him the heads to get ported? and what did he charge to port the intake? thanx, hope you don;t think im stupid for asking.

Re: Lloyd Elliot Products
Generally speaking you send him your heads, and he ports them for you, but he picks up castings on here from time to time, so he might have a set available to sell you. As for porting the intake manifold, I don't think he charges more the a couple hundred, because he is porting mine and machining/welding it up to work with TFS heads for $400. Give him a call or shoot him an email, he is a real easy guy to talk to and deal with
Re: Lloyd Elliot Products
I had Lloyd do my heads for my 93 Z. It was running consistant 8.9s@78-79mph in the 1/8th mile with an SLP stainless off road y-pipe, moroso CAI, airfoil, and hooker catback. I installed a budget set of Lloyd's heads. Basically he took my stock heads ported them, reused the same valves, cleaned them and had them surfaced, installed my LT4 valve springs, got a valve job, and gave em to me to put back on my car ready to go for 600$. I put them and a set of 1.6 roller rockers on my car and without a tune ran 8.3s@84mph. I loved them then I sold the car.... what an idiot. That set of heads was excellent. He is doing my next set for the 96 Z the same way!
Re: Lloyd Elliot Products
Can't wait to get my LE heads/cam in, they've been sitting in a cabinet for 6 months now!
Whats the specs on the cam you had put in ChrisUlrich?? And is that in a stock displacement 350?
