A "tune" is not neccessary to get low 13's high 12's. I'm on stk tuning and everything on my engine is OE except for the valvetrain, shorty headers and TB.

By doing a little bit of searching, and reading more than posting the same things over and over, I've got my '94 into the mid 12s on a very mild buildup N/A.
Granted a lot of info can be found by searching, but if all everyone did was search for answers, this board would be dead. You did not have to answer his post if you didn't want to. It frustrates me when people flame others for not searching because a thread that was created a year ago doesn't allow for new opinions to come out. But most people have hit it on the head. My mods have netted me probably mid 13s, but gears are coming this summer as well as some skinnies and DRs. I think tuning is a wonderful mod as I gained 0.2 seconds in the eighth with my OBD1 conversion.
