Tuning For my 383?
Ok just finishing up my 383 stroker?now can i drive my car around for like a couple of weeks with out a tune?
mods:
Eagle rods/crank
JE Pistons
le2 heads
cc306 cam
44lb injectors
hooker longtubes
58mm throttle body
msd stuff
e-pump
double roller timing chain

You would definately at least want to tune for the injectors and the added cubes.
The specific timing adjustments for the cam could wait a little bit but with injectors that big on a stock to you are going to be extremely rich.

According to a write up I read alot of tuners dont change for the cubes. I would change for injectors for sure or put the stockers in and stay off it until he can get a proper tune. I'm sure someone can send him something to use.

I wouldn't do it. You need to be breaking it in during the first hour or so (read as: a number of WOT runs) to seat the rings. I wouldn't consider running the car like that without a good tune.
