You'll have an ET advantage for sure since you have an auto...definitely post results when you hit the track.

I was about to say.... no power down low? peaky dyno charts? I've heard all that BS before but it's kinda hard to say that once you look at the dyno charts. It's hard to say that he doesn't have any power down low with that much TQ and that flat of a TQ curve.

I was saying his tq curve is flat as $hit which is awesome and that any car that performs bad down low would be evident on the dyno when looking at the tq curve. I think this particular car will be great down low.

I was just making a comment towards some guys that are "LE/BRE" negative.... i've heard those comments all before and just wonder where they are founded.

Roadtrip, how the hell do you hit 112 mph on a stock cam, and stock heads???? . Granted you have the M6 vs my A4, I'm nowhere near 12 seconds much less 112 mph.

No **** Sherlock. As it’s been addressed MANY times in the stupid “my head ported/cam doctor is better than yours” hijacked threads. ETs are VERY dependant on car setup, driver skill, track conditions, da, etc. As someone (Mindgame, I think) said…“I’ve never seen a head/cam package cut a good 60ft time”

It also amuses me when people over play the important of low end tq in drag racing. Don’t most drag racers have at least a 3,000+ rpm converter and/or 3.73 gears???

One question, looks like you ground this cam to spin to 6500, could you gain more torque if you ground the cam if it were only to be spun to 6200 (Like the LE1=6200) or would grinding it for 6200 max rev only move the powerband down? Hope that makes sense. I ask because you said it struggled over 6k rpm

Alot of bolt-ons....327 RWHP...
Very Very light car and a good track with Good Density Altitude....

And to comment on the dyno cars vs. track times.

I had a LE2 setup on a Trans Am. Dyno'd 417 RWHP.
Ran 11.7 @ 118 at 800 DA. The LE2 setups not only produce dyno numbers but run good times.
My times were run through a 6 spd with 3.73 gears. Auto with a stall, And the times would have been alot faster.

Once again.... Lloyd and Bret setups are unmatched for price and performance.

Joe you better step up and throw some more mods at that C5.... D-rad has got to be a bit faster now!

Brady's cam was ground for a set of stock heads to start with. The intake lobe is really aggressive, so it's not the easiest thing to run to 6500rpm. You could possibly make more TQ with a smaller cam but it would be hard to do.

Thanks for the awesome setup, i cant wait to try and squeeze some more hp out of this thing. I'll need those ET drags soon.

Congrats! Now go run it and give me a target, LOL!!
Car without driver is in the 28xx range, it has trapped 115.72 but normally in the 112-113 range. with 1.65 60's normally.

My friend Betty's car (98 Formula A4 3.23s) with just a couple of boltons (shorty headers, hypertech tune, Nittos and !mufflers) ran 12.7@111.74 on January 28th at SDR in Reynolds, Georgia. Now yes it is an LS1 car, but she is not putting down more than 310ish RWHP. Weight with here in the car is 3300 lbs.
