Getting ready to do a lt4 hot cam kit ive read shoebox's removal and cam install im pretty sure i could do this but im wondering if i need to still measure spring height if im using all the gm componets springs, 1.6 roller rockers ext that come in the kit.

 

i just installed the kit in my car and i didnt. hopefully gonna fire her up on wednesday but i didnt. and my buddy who did the kit on his car a couple of years ago didnt either

 

I wondered the same thing and so I order a spring micrometer from Summit. I measured two, the measurements didn't seem to be right so I said F-it and just put them all in anyway without any problems You should be fine - I wouldn't worry about it.
