Jet hot LT questions

soon im going to order some jet hot LT headers and ORY to go along with a catback (dont know which yet).

first off with LTs will i need O2 extensions?
is the Y pipe linked below made to fit both single cat and dual cat style catbacks?
how often do people burn plug wires with Jet hots?
how long does the coating last?
how many of you welded flanges to the headers instead of using the slip fit?

im sure ill think of more questions but for now this will suffice. any and all input is appreciated

You will need some extensions for the long tubes, 12" extensions will do the trick. The y-pipe will work with both catback setups. As for the coating, it is a hit or miss. Some people have had it last for many years without incident and others complain of rust starting in just a matter of months. Many people flange their headers and y-pipe, it makes disassembly easy in the future but has some slight drawbacks which include the possibility of flange leaks and reduced ground clearance.
