intake eblow

i took the tube off the bottom of the intake elbow and plugged it up.. seems like its got more response, but can it hurt anything?

That's just a silencer. In theory you get a little better airflow cause of less turbulence... but I doubt there would be a noticable difference.

It won't add any power, maybe a little more intake noise. Its not going to hurt anything either way.
