inspection test ?
i just took my 1995 camaro z28 to the take the inspection. It failed.
They told me something was wrong with the A/C. He said that in most times it was caused from catalytic converter and i told him that it use to work, until i started to change the spark plugs off one day and some a spark came out and after that it stoped working. i also had the Compressor changed. (new). and he still said it was the catalytic converter. so i thaught to myself could that be the reason. so people please give me some tips or reason what might be wrong.

I don't see how. Why does it matter if your A/C doesn't work, it has no bearing on your emissions. Only thing I can think of is that he meant AIR pump and not A/C. If you're AIR pump is out then it won't pump fresh air into the cat to heat it up. Either way I don't understand how a new cat would solve the problem. Probably trying to get money out of you, take it somewhere else.

thats exactly what i thaught someone would say.
he just wanted to get money from me and i cant take it somewhere else becuase i have 15 days to fix that problem and then take it again to the same place becuase they already charged me 40 bux.

The means there was excessive unburned hydrocarbons (HC = gasoline) coming out of the tailpipe. Could be a bad cat, could be running excessively rich, could be a leaking injector, could be misfiring. How did it do on CO and NOx?
