To help we need to know the year of the engine, the year of the Z28 that the harness came from and the tranny that was in the Z....
Re: im out of ideas!!!
ok the harness came out of a 96 z with a manual trans n the engine came out of a 95 caprice
somebody else told me that the motor could of been a buick roadmaster thats why the harness wont fit but idk i jus wanna do something so i can get my baby up and running

Re: im out of ideas!!!
The 327 has not been a production engine since 1969, at least to my knowledge and the 95 caprice came with either a tbi 305 or a full iron version of the lt1350 same w the roadmaster (by full iron I mean cast iron heads) as opposed to the corvette/camaro
Re: im out of ideas!!!
He's simply confused because the LT1 block has "327" cast on it. That is the last three digits of the casting #. Note "327" in lower right of photo:

The other engine in the Caprice was the 265ci L99 version of the LT1. That block has "4.3L" cast on it.

Re: im out of ideas!!!
The harness is for an obd2 car and the engine is obd1. There are connectors on the harness that won't have a sensor on the engine. The first thing that comes to mind is the crank position sensor.....on the harness, not on the engine. I think the B-body cars had 2 knock sensors, that harness has one connector. The harness will have connectors for 4 Oxygen sensors as well. You'll have to confirm that the common sensors have the same connectors .... things like the IAC..... I just don't know.
It's not going to be super easy.......
