iac counts 9-10 at idle, upstream o2 voltage .10 volts, map low
ok well i scanned my car today becuse the ses came on and went off and it got me parinoide. so heres what troubles me
my iac counts were jumping from 9-13
the upstream o2 voltage was only .10 on both sides
and my map was reading a little low but i think thats from the 13" k&n cone filter. the car was floping from super lean to super rich. i scaned it at idle and the water temp was around 200 degrees.
any idea why my iac counts were jumping like that
and any thoughts on the map reading
im going to replace the o2s tomorrow becuse obvously there bad

Re: iac counts 9-10 at idle, upstream o2 voltage .10 volts, map low
Your data is too confusing.... in one place you indicate both O2's were only reading 0.10V, and then you say the "car was floping from super lean to super rich. " That sounds like your O2 sensors were correctly cycling over a range of 0.0XX to 0.9XXV.
Your coolant temp sounds normal.
Why do you feel the IAC is a problem? Was it correctly controlling the idle speed" As long as it isn't "bottomed out" at "0" counts, its not a problem. It would be better to see it in the range of 20-40 counts at idle. If its low, it might indicate a vacum leak. Need to keep an eye on it.
"my map was reading a little low " - doesn't tell us anything. Give us a number. You should be seeing 9.5-10.0"Hg, or 32-36kPa. What was yours reading? It isn't because of the K&N.... at idle the throttle blades are closed and the IAC shuts down until the MAP is correct to give the car it needs to idle at the "target" RPM. The type of filter, or any other part of the intake system is irrelevant at idle.

both o2s were and still are reading .10 volts (didnt get a chance to change them today) and it is floping from rich to lean atleast thats what my af gauge is saying. it could be bad i dunno. and the map was at 7.5 hg and befor its said this isnt a case of a bad scanner its brand new
