Re: I need a new in tank fuel pump.....

Not to sure what everyone means about plug and play on the Racetronix setup. I still had to modify the bucket to get the pump in there straight up and down. Maybe you don't have to but it fits better by taking the ribs out on the side, should have took some pics. The factory pump has an offset inlet so it fits the bucket straight up and down. The Racetronix pump inlet is not offset, it's inline centered of the pump.

As for instructions with there setup, better email them first! It does not come with it at all. One would think that they would put it on there site for us to get, but thats just me.

I had a connector problem with mine, there was solder in the connector preventing it from engaging completely. Finally got that fixed and everything is working great. The kit comes complete with everything that you need.

Customer Service is excellent, they answered all my questions, even up to and past 10pm at night.

Some of the buckets have ribs and some don't.
The wiring harness is marketed as PnP.
The pump assembly is as PnP as it can get.

Hey Kurt,

You might ask Racetronix about the glue for the bucket. For some reason
when I pulled my tank back apart to replace the sending unit I noticed the glue hadn't held the lid on.

Then you did something wrong. Perhaps you did not clamp it properly and let it dry long enough before immersing it in gas?

no I let it dry for atleast 24 hours. However, I did have to pull it back apart the first time because my first pump was DOA and I didn't test it before I put it back together.
Maybe it was because of the old glue residue
