hey guys,


i have 3k miles on my cam install, and my motor is strong, holds great compression and doesn't tick at all in park at any rpm. when i'm in gear i get knock but the car shifts good. count goes higher at shift points and sometimes is always there.

least is 1.2 most is 9.

on the highway is better like almost no knock at all. the engine runs great. i get code 43 once and a while but i dont think that has anything to do with this ( yes, i know its the circut for the knock sensor).

anyways... the car has 120k on it and maybe its the trans????

i when i give it gas... i hear some knock.... but it intermitant.... i was under the impression engine knock is constant...so i'm saying trans......anyone else agreee with me?


BTW anyone have a built trans for sale.... otherwise its going to LT1DAVE

Have you given it some high octane fuel? (no the stuff in the can, im talking race gas)

That should help narrow things down.
