I am looking to pick one of these up but upon checking out the jegs website, I see this in the description...

This hand-held gauge must be used with the adjustable fuel pressure regulator to indicate final fuel pressure. .


Is this true?? Im not going to get a AFPR just so I can use a test gauge. If thats the case I'll just look elsewhere. It just seems tough to find one with a long enough hose to do a WOT test.

 

They are not saying you have to have an AFPR before you can install the gauge. They are saying IF you have an AFPR, you need the gauge to adjust it.

It will work fine with the stock FPR, since it screws onto the Schrader valve, and doesn't interface with the FPR.
