How rich do these things come from the factory?

How rich do these engines run from the factory? Assuming a problem free engine with all sensors working correctly and the mods listed in my sig, what could i do with tunercat to get a few extra hp? generally i know the process involves making a run with datamaster or equivilent software and tuning spark advance accordingly, but is there anything else? Also just wondering what you guys have had luck with tuning wise.

thanks

I got just over 20 at the wheels with madz28. Before the tune I was running about 12:1 or so.

At WOT, the PCM enters "power enrichment" mode, and calculates the "target" A/F ratio from a couple of variable.... but it generally comes out to 11.7:1. For peak power/torque, you generally want something in the 12.8-13.2:1 range. You can typically pick up 15HP by leaning the stock PE mode values out.

Ok im looking at these tables, %change to fuel/air ratio vs rpm at wot and %change to fuel/air ratio vs coolant temp. First question is, why do the values vary at diff RPM? Why dont i just put -.8 in for every value in the %change to fuel/air ratio vs rpm at wot table? This gives me a 12.8:1 a/f ratio.
