Question How is our battery secured in the engine bay? going to a track in the next week

Just wondering where the battery is secured in the engine bay of an LT1.

I think one of the rules is it has to be properly secured, with no bungee cords. I just want to make sure my car is ready to go, because I never noticed before..

Thanks!

There's a hold-down clamp on the "back" side, down at the bottom of the battery.

It also tends to break alot. But, there is a handy screwhole on the frame there just perfect for a steel band to hold the sucker down.
