I use Seafoam gas/intake every 6,000 miles or every other oil change. As an extra cleaner I will also use 3 gallons Toluene, 4 oz Marvel's Mystery Oil to 9 gallons 93 gas. I do this about every other oil change too.

Been doing this for a while now with no problems and my car runs great.

Not to dwell on the subject, but I have done consistent logging before and after using seafoam and haven't seen a difference in my O2 readings or any problems. I also run a gallon of Toluene through the tank every once in a while. It's been proven to be a safe and effective cleaner unlike the shelf bought products that can actually harm your system.

If you do a search here for 'toluene' you will find a post that has an attachment on some research done with off the shelf fuel treatments and how bad they are. They found straight toluene to work the best. Toluene is actually a product used in making gasoline and is used in some fuel treatments. Paint stores carry it and I pay like $7 a gallon for it. A gallon added to 12 gallons only raises the octane like 2 or 3 points. People with turbo cars use it mixed half and half or even higher concentrations for increased timing and boost applications. It has been researched and tested on the effects of fuel systems and it's components and didn't harm anything.

You should be able to get it at Lowes or Home Depot in the paint department.

Yeah, this sounds like something I want to put in my car. NOT.
If this Toluene is SO good and effective yet safe for your engine, why isn't there an AUTOcare product on the market??

toluene is one of the many components of gasoline; we're just talking about altering the octane by changing the balance; high octane = slower combustion = less power from combustion = allow higher compression = allow more advanced timing
