Seafoamed.. but couldn't get it to stall??

Seafoamed this weekend. Everything was going fine. Poured 3/4 + of carbon cleaner in, no smoke out the back. Fine. Then wanted to stall the car according to the directions I was following. Poured the rest of the can in the funnel at once. Car stumbled alot, the carbon smoke then poured out of the tailpipes, and my engine bay filled up with the blue carbon smoke. Still ok, but the car would not stall. Opened the next can of Seafoam, poured 1/4 of that can in all at once. Still no stall, but lots of smoke. Finally just shut car off, needed rest of that can for the fuel tank.
How come it wouldn't stall? Did I do this good enough to clean out the motor, since I couldn't get it to stall for the foam to sit on top of the cylinders? I did smoke like he!! though!
Thanks

Yeh sorry, forgot to put that on at the beginning. I used the one that another member used who had an awesome write-up on using Seafoam. Forget his name though, posted it about 1 1/2-2 weeks ago. I used the one on the pass. side of the throttle body. It has the L shaped boot. It's right under the bigger hose on the same side. Guess easier to describe is the smaller middle one. After I restarted the car after hooking up my tube and funnel, and unplugging it, I had a loud vaccum.

I will be seafoaming my intake soon. I got a can of their deep creep. That's the spray can. I'm just gonna spray it right into the TB. Much easier

I ran a can through my fuel before, but never noticed any difference. Hopefully, the intake cleaning will make one

my car never stalled either.

dont worry, some cars just dont.

it would come very close, but it wouldnt stall, so i just shut it off and let it sit for a good 15-20 mins.

btw.......i went to all the hassle of removing my rubber elbow to clean the throttle body, and the damn thing was perfectly clean!

Hey ACA Perf...your the guy with the post. Awesome!! I'm car illiterate, so thanks alot. I appreciate being able to use that guide for my first Seafoam session. Just awesome. And yeh, at the end I dumped the rest of the bottle in. Filled the tube completely. She just sucked it all in. Seafoam in, blue smoke out. Got HP...Never would stall- would always come real close, hickup, and keep on chugging. My TB blades were spotless as well, however, inside with a rag soaked with Seafoam and a long screwdriver to rub with, I got alot of sootie looking stuff off the top, bottom, and walls of the intake. At least as far as I could reach.
Glad to hear others wouldn't stall either. Maybe it was worth it and not all a waste them.
Thanks

If you were getting blue smoke in your engine bay then it sounds like you may have an exhaust leak at your heads->exhaust manifolds/headers.

If you CANT get it to stall and your dead set on it sitting in side the motor, just pull the MAF sensor wire. That stalls the motor.

I seafoamed mine last summer, and it would stall if I slurped even a drop.. after a few times it finally ran stronger, and took more to stall. My buddy's z with less mileage actually never stalled. So buildup might be the reasons some do and some dont stall.

Maybe that could be our gauge on how dirty our internals are?

Anyone else agree?

It was coming from the pass. side- around the area where the shorts connect to the Y and the Y connects to the straight pipe. I didn't put any of these on, but it'll be time for a new cat back when I put a new HF cat on-this fall or so.

So, if i use the seafoam through the evac line, there is no possibility that i will hydrolock and be screwed?

I just ran it out and 1 can made it stall. I have a little liquid left in my tube/funnel....should i just tilt the tub back and let it drain?

Thanks for the tutorial though, it worked great...easy to follow
