how to hook up a auto meter air fuel ratio gauge

ok i got this off a guy no digram i need to know what wire the purple wire connects to on the O2 thanks crap forgot its a 96 z 6 speed

Auto meter has directions for there gauges online.

Driver's bank O2 sensor is the purple/white wire on pin C20 of the PCM, passenger bank O2 sensor is the purple wire on pin C8 of the PCM. Do not splice into the wires attached to the sensor. Splice in only at the PCM or in the car's wiring harness.

Some people run both wires to a single-pole/double-throw switch so they can display either left or right bank sensor.

Hopefully you are a ware that a narrow-band O2 sensor/meter combination will not provide you with much useful information, other than indicating complete failure of the sensors. In closed loop you will get a psychedelic light show, and at WOT it will indicate "rich".

In other words, a waste of money and time.
