How to hook up alternator wires for custom application

I decided to dump the one wire alternator and hook up my stock LT1 alt. Can someone assist me in wiring this up? There is a plug with 4-5 wires coming from it. I don't really need all of them hooked up, just enough to make the car run and charge battery. And there is also a stud on the back of the alt. I'm assuming that goes to the +12 battery

My 94 LT1 has the CS144 140 amp alternator and it uses only one wire in the 4 pin plug..
The plug has pins for 'P',' L',' I', and ' S', but only 'L' is used [I believe it goes to the instrument cluster for the voltmeter gage]
Also, the large stud is 12V +[output] to battery..
The mounts provide the 12V - ground..

I believe that was answered in the post above. (1993s were 124 amp)

The one small wire must have a 470 ohm resistor on it if you don't route it to the dash light or volt gauge. Normally, the light or gauge has that resistance built in.
