Thumbs up

I would say you can get 11.80s with good traction and good air. Also the good drivermod doesn't hurt. My car has never been to the track but I consistently beat low 12 second cars around here(including a new 2002 zo6..those things are dam fast stock) My buddies transam runs consistent 12.40s and everytime we race I put about a car and a half on him(he was on slicks and i was on drs) I still got the stock throttle body and have 1.5 rrs.

OH...I DID NOTICE ONE THING JUST NOW....DITCH THOSE MAC HEADERS AND GET LONG TUBES.

I bet my car picked up over 50 horsepower going from crappy edelbrocks to longtubes. Now before I GET FLAMED I know everyone says 10-12 horses over shorties at most, but thats on a STOCK MOTOR. That CC306 likes to breath. (especially with ported heads-even if they are minorly ported) It literally was like another engine. Get rid of those shorties with your combo or you will not be happy. Those 400 dollar hooker longtubes are a good investment to get your 13.0-12.70 car now to low 12s at least. Don't be scared to shift that sucker high either. That cc306 loves to be revved. -Terry

Well, I'm running the times in my sig with a smaller cam, and stock 95,000 mile bottom end. With MAC headers, and no weight reduction....

My car HAS been to the track, and I'm running 12.25 with "Crappy" MAC headers (with all emissions still hooked up), and through a Flowmaster (no cut-out)

Macs are midlengths if im not mistaken

also it doesnt seem like many people have mentioned getting a stall. Even a moderate one such as a ~2400 or ~2800 would help quite a bit IMO, although im not exactly sure what the optimum operating range of the CC306 is.

The car is a 6-speed, a stall won't help much.

low 12's should be seen w/ a 2.0 or under 60' I would say. You should be trapping at least 113 w/ all those mods (correct me if I'm wrong people?) and that is assuming there was a decent power gain w/ the heads. high 11's would seem possible, but the stock rearend would be the first to go.

You won't ryn low 12's with a 2.0 60' or even a 1.9 for that matter. It takes at least a 1.7 or a 1.8 if you trap 120mph. I know I run 12.00's with a low 1.7 if I run 1.8 I go 12.20's@113mph. JMO.
