how easy do opti's break

I bought my camaro back in April. Replaced the Opti, distributer seal, and water pump seal, water pump gaskets, opti harness, plugs, wires and o2 sensors. nearly the entire ignition. This fixed my problems for a while.
about 2 weeks ago they started again, Hi-Res and Lo-Res codes, Half the time it just cranks, and when it does start it won't advance and dies a lot.

Why is this happening. I really don't want to buy another opti, If it needs to be replaced, then what about that coil pack conversion. whats it cost?

is everybody just sick of answering opti questions, or does nobody have an answer.

You've got two cars in your signature.... which one are you talking about? Is the Opti vented (possible use on 383 LT4) or non-vented (stock)?

Basically, need more details to answer the question.... might explain why you aren't getting any answers.

Most of my breakage has been the rotor. The opti part has always worked. I have broken two. Looks like the copper contact comes loose with high energy CD ignitions.

My stock opti did great for about 20k miles on a Mallory 685 box. Went ahead and swapped for a new one when the new motor went in, though.

I was refering to the stock 94 camaro, with an unvented opti.
