How can i pick up .2 ?
I just got back from the track. And Im running 13.240 @107.790. I want to get into the 12s. What else should i do? I was thinking 1.6 RRs, Cold air induction, or 3.73s What would be my best bet? Thanks alot.

You could definatley pick some time up by switching out those shorties for some longtubes. 1 5/8"..................
not working to well IMO. That and some gears should put you into the 12's, some DR's wwouldnt hurt either...................

if you're still running the stock air intake, you definitely need to get rid of that and get a cai. that should help considerably since you have a cam and headers. the 1.6rr's would also help some.
Here's another vote for the headers. Those 1 5/8's shorties are no good except for emissions, but then again, most headers pass emissions. Ditch those in favor of LT's, or AZ's, or SLP, and get a Cold Air Induction. You should be there.
On another note, what's your 60' time? THat's going to determine your run. I went 13.09@106.8 with a 2.03 short time, so looking at your higher trap speed, I can't help but to think that you need a little harder launch off the line. You've got the car to get into the 12's right now it looks like.

at your mod level a CAI by itself may be worth .2. I wouldn't bother with Longtubes unless you plan on hitting 400-450RWHP or better. Stickier tires would definitely help as well.

I dropped about .8 sec with long tubes, catback and gears.

- not to jack the post, but IMO, shortys are the best bet for a stock/bolt-on LT1. LTs, IMO, seem to hurt low end on cars that don't have the breathing ability to make use of the extra size of LTs. Heads/Cam cars...LTs are a MUST; again...all my opinion.Weight can be lost without loosing amenities. Back seat...do you REALLY let people sit back there? Bumper supports...heavy *** milk cartons are what they are. Granted, the front support has a nice metal brace and likely a front end collision will undoubtably send you radiator shopping. The rear, to me seems worthless...it MAY (big MAYBE) help some...but getting hit in the butt is gonna require replacing the skirt and repainting either way. But, that's a combined (back seat and supports) 60-70+/- pounds. Ditch that sway bar and you'll see an improvement in launching (I did).
For track purpose, remove the belt for a pass at a time, good for a few ponies. There's plenty tricks-of-the-trade. Some people say "Oh...I race my car and drive it on the street the same way." And other blah blah blah. But, losers are always making excuses aren't they, lol...j/k
