A bud of mine just bought a KB 03 Cobra, solid 8.8 rear, nice, nice car.
On 94 octane pump gas, it put down 634 rwhp. He is swapping the exhaust and should hit 650 rwhp and then spray a small 50 shot on it.
Hmmm...probably make 720 rwhp on 94 octane...and this is getting more and more common in the 03-04 Cobra world.
So how many H/C LT1's are going to be pulling these cars down?
Tell you what, even with my combo spraying (396", th-400, 12 bolt, gear, killer AFR 210 heads), I might be able to stay with it....

lol well i actually paid 3500 for the car..lol and yeah when all else fails..its like comparing apples to oranges..stangs need blowers to be something..we dont

O3 cobras are not 400rwhp stock. They are rated at 390flywheel HP. I find it hard to believe that an intake, exhaust, and pulley will make it 440rwhp, unless that pulley is meant to increase boost. Any FI car has a huge advantage over a NA - those motors are designed to handle boost so modding them is very easy and effective.
Beating a stock 03 is doable with a decent HC lt1.
