here are the guide plates (second pic... 5 bucks each)

you only need 8 guide plates right? so thats only 40 bucks


also i always thought the LT4 springs were just barely strong enough to support 1.7 RR as well

The LT4 springs are listed to hold .525 lift.

That's what I thought. Not big enough for the Hotcam and 1.7 RR's

Hmm, although they can't handle the Hotcam, they would be able to handle 1.7s with my stock LT4. I might have to think about that, it'd be interesting to see what kind of gains a stock LT4 would get with the 1.7s in comparison to just a Hotcam (about 30HP). What else would I need since the springs wouldn't have to be changed? Rockers, guideplates, and pushrods?
