97bowtie is on the right track with the weight issue. Definitely weigh that thing and let us know!

that mph is very impressive. many people with big cams and ported heads barely go that fast.

Those times are really good for what your car has.

My best time is in the sig, which is pretty damn depressing. I ran the 13.7@ 101 with 2.0 60' with all my mods, except the Vigilante 3200 and I even had 3.73s at the time and not 3.42s.

I have been pretty dissappointed with my Hot Cam Kit. It seems like it has no upper RPM power at all.

Man something ain't right there, I have never seen a hotcam/cc305 powered car run less then 106 mph. Are you WAY above sea level or something? get that thing on the dyno!

Yea tell me aboout it. I have been trying to fix whatever the hell the problem is for 5 months now. I've checked pretty much everything I can think of. One problem I can feel is that the cam seems to run out of power at 5800 or so RPMS, and the car kinda coasts for a millisecond until it hits 6200 RPM then it shifts. I'm not sure if this is motor related or trans related.

Hopefully it's Trans related, cuz I'm picking up my Race Built 4L60E trans with 700R4 electronic controls monday nite.

You could drop .4 off your 60 ft times with just some sticky tires. Then your mph will be even higher, which is insane cause it's already insanely high. I'd say you could run a 12.6-12.7 or so. Good luck and keep us informed when you get some dr's.

Your MPH in the 1/8 is identical to my best, but I really doubt I'll pull 114 in the 1/4 even with ported heads.

Nice times, even though.....

I ran 87 in the 1/8 mile with my Hot Cam on stock heads. My best mph on the big end is 110.34 with an A4 & 3200 stall. Eventhough the 114 is pretty high I guess I can see it happening with an M6 car. Nice run. That MPH means with some stickys you will run 11's...

With traction you will find your mph go down. You should see mid to high 12's with 1.6-1.8 60ft's. Good mph

something is fishy about your time. There is no way your car picked up 27 mph from 1/8th to the end.

My car traped 90mph in the 1/8th and only gained 25mph

That is the biggest misconception when it comes to drag racing.

I don't think a stock headed hotcam car will trap 114.....just my opinion...I would have to see the race weight of the car.....
