Hooker LT install!

Hey guys, i'm finally in the process of installing my LT's, so i'll be back and forth on here w/questions i'm sure. First of all, i'm in the middle of removing the pass side exhaust manifold, do i need to remove the alternator to get it out?
Thanks,
Ryan

Thanks. What else will need to be removed? I'm guessing the starter will come out as well.

You should already have heated O2s in your car so your stock ones will work. You will either have to cut and splice your O2 sensor wires or get O2 extensions to get them hooked up in their new location.

BUY BAND-AIDS!! Everything is sharp under these cars.

Other than that you should do ok.

Be prepared to jack the motor up...you may, or you may not have to.

Yes, this is strange. On my 94Z the Hooker long tubes went right in. Yesterday we installed Hooker long tubes on the 96SS and had to jack up the engine

Strange, eh?

Okay I have a question about the O2's too as I'm gonna be installing mine soon. Can I buy normal sensors from my local parts store or should i go to the dealer or what? Whats the best sensor to buy?

I would stick with the AC Delco's, for they worked much better than the Bosch ones i had in. Or at least lasted longer anyway!
